I sent the coins to the stock exchange … They did not come!
And that’s why…

Unfortunately, as you can see, this transaction has not been broadcast correctly. If it has not reached the block explorer, there is no way it would have reached your Cryptopia account.

You need to reach out to the owner of the sending wallet and give them the link to the block explorer to show that this transaction has not been correctly broadcast. If this is a personal wallet you have sent from, be sure it is up to date and fully synced with the network.

you should try and provide as much information as possible when trying to solve these kinds of issues.

So what kind of client did you send coins from?
Did you send it from a Mobile wallet ? if Yes, which one?
Did you send it from a desktop Feathercoin-qt client ? if yes, which one ?

Do you have a transaction ID we can check ?

1 - backup your current wallet and then a separate backup of your private keys (just incase)
2 - verify your backup
3 - uninstall feathercoin 0.9 and install 0.13

How this will affect the broken transaction?

If the transaction never made it to the block chain, the transaction never occurred and the coins should be in the wallet.

Hi @Kaidzu - when exactly did you try these links?
I’ve just tested them all and they all work.

in case you’re having issues download for some unknown reason, you should know the links on the main website www.feathercoin.com just point to the official github links.

We are an opensource project so logic says you should be checking our official Github page here:
https://github.com/FeatherCoin/Feathercoin

if you look around there you’ll see we have a releases page here:
https://github.com/FeatherCoin/Feathercoin/releases

You can either download version 0.16 which is still in RC1 phase, or you can download 0.13.1.0 which is the current release with setup files available for download.

If you’re on Linux I recommend you build the software yourself.

If you’re on a Mac:

If you’re on Windows:

Last question…
Where can I get a private key?
When I enter a command in the debug window:
importprivekey…
Gives an error message:
Invalid private key encoding (code -5)

The question is what you want to do?

If you want to get the private key of your wallet the command is ‘exportprivkey’ not ‘import…’
