[ANN] BTCPay gets FTC support (self-hosted Payment processor)
-
BTCPay, the open source payment processor software, gets support for Feathercoin thanks to @ChekaZ !
What this means in practice:
- Merchants can now easily accept FTC themselves, being fully independent
- Payment processors, brokers and exchanges can just use BTCPay and offer that as a service for companies that want to accept FTC (as well as BTC, LTC)
- As soon as we have Lightning ported for Feathercoin we get instant Lightning support ootb for merchants thanks to BTCPay !
Thanks again for @ChekaZ for doing all the implementation work.
@rogerdarin wrote a blog post for the FDF about this: https://medium.com/@Feathercoin/btcpay-server-comes-to-feathercoin-df6a4bbecb93

I just set one up to test yesterday and it was really very easy (with the Docker-Compose).
It will be also very easy with FTC once @ChekaZ has his Docker image finished. Then it’s a few command line calls to setup a BTCPay server with BTC, LTC and FTC :)
