Since the FDF set “featherlight payments” as the new “slogan” I’ve been thinking a lot how we could get more attention for Feathercoin to perform what it’s best at - doing simple day to day payments.

So that’s what lately went through my mind:
Some of you might know the Fintech “unicorn” Revolut. As I saw, they have a Test running for swapping Cryptocurrencies (different Fiat currencies to Crypto). Implemented are Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ether and Ripple.

As they are getting more and more popular (not only in the “crypto-scene”) I thought it might be a good idea, to get in touch with them, as Feathercoin would gain a lot of popularity and a Fiat to FTC pair, which might would be used more then the currently existing one.

Those were just some thoughts of me, please let me know what you think of it!

As I got myself a new desktop computer (mainly for gaming) I decided to get more into the field of mining to get a better understanding overall.
I started out with Ccminer and the https://feathercoin.miningpoolhub.com/ .
Following are my specs (just tell me, if I need to add something):

• CPU : Intel Core i7-8700K

• GPU: Asus RTX 2080

• Ram: 32gb DDR4 (3200MHz)

• Power Supply: 650W

Currently the max. Hashrate I got was about 1’070 kH/s with the basic intensity being set to 16.250 (according to Ccminer).

If you guys have any idea, what I could try to see some difference/get a feeling for it --> feel free:-).

PS: If any of you has a good link to deeper technical explanations about the whole difficulty calculating process/mining process at all - would be great!!

Should I leave this online or should I delete it to make sure I keep the access?

I have a quick question regarding the forum.
As I understood, the user has to make a post in this particular “New Members” part of the forum, to gain access to the others.

I did my “welcome to the forum…” post about five months ago but still don’t have access to other parts, like the general discussion one.

So here comes my question: did I missunderstand anything or is there other requirements you need to meet aswell?

Because if I could gain access to the others I’d be happily be more active on the forum.
