Also, probably should’ve gotten the wife stamp of approval before jumping in. This stuff isn’t worth jeopardizing a relationship over.

It was stressful two weeks to make this happen. The cards come in stock in tiny numbers, and are gone in hours.
I was already giving up when a local store got them them. They were gone in 2hrs, I got almost all I wanted.
Now I’m missing some risers, they seem to be not shipping at all.

Riser are pain in the ass now day’s. EBay sellers raised price for powered risers up to 20 times :) And there no no warranty, that they actually have them in hand. I just ordered non powered risers and will follow “Homebrew powered risers” guide from this forum.

I had the same problem over here trying to get risers for a couple of days till I managed to track some down, still had to pay over the top for what they are but you gotta have what you need.

[/quote]What a silly man! I hate it when people do that, you don’t find out till it’s to late. If this ever happens to me I always report the seller to Ebay and make sure negative feed back is left to warm others.

Does she still think you are crazy?How many watts are the 280x pulling? I’m not sure 1200w will suffice for 4 per rig.
