It was stressful two weeks to make this happen. The cards come in stock in tiny numbers, and are gone in hours.
I was already giving up when a local store got them them. They were gone in 2hrs, I got almost all I wanted.
Now I’m missing some risers, they seem to be not shipping at all.

Riser are pain in the ass now day’s. EBay sellers raised price for powered risers up to 20 times :) And there no no warranty, that they actually have them in hand. I just ordered non powered risers and will follow “Homebrew powered risers” guide from this forum.

I had the same problem over here trying to get risers for a couple of days till I managed to track some down, still had to pay over the top for what they are but you gotta have what you need.

[/quote]What a silly man! I hate it when people do that, you don’t find out till it’s to late. If this ever happens to me I always report the seller to Ebay and make sure negative feed back is left to warm others.

Does she still think you are crazy?How many watts are the 280x pulling? I’m not sure 1200w will suffice for 4 per rig.

[/quote]I was thinking about one rig, then I considered two is better. When I saw the discount price for the cards in booked 15pc immediately, to give me time to think . I was at the shop 2 hours later and took them all. They were below market price.

[/quote]of you use seasonic x1250 it works for 4 cards running 750khash each with 1100/1500 settings (asus matrix 280X) i would however keep it for three just to be sure

i have 4x gigabyte 280x and i have a 1500w evga. it has a usb powered stat reader. says im pulling 1450 - 1500 from the wall and about 1250 - 1300 used.

i get about the same. i volt to 1050 and -20 powertune. my clock and mem is the same.
