There isnt a faster way to pay/accept feathercoins locally than using NFC.

Therefore i would like to bring up this point and hope some influenced person’s of this forum pick up this idea and develope a strategy to implement NFC into a mobile ftc solution like a wallet.

IMO more and more people use smartphones for quick ftc payment (low amounts), therefore i would like to have a voting system implemented so we can analyze if there is a need/market for NFC for ftc

I hope your approach is more successful!

          Lets make some advertising 2gether;-)
All i see are advantages for feathercoin use(ers)

Im no developer but as i quickly read through the thematic it looks not that hard and offers multiple great ways for ftc.
( Costum Print nfc tags - great for individual ftc logos
          http://nfcdirect.co.uk/31-custom-print-nfc-tags)

Easy to use and programm (nfc tag stickers)
Opens the mobile world for feathercoin
          …

We can digg deeper if there will be interest from the devs side, jmo

**Oxford Blue could volunteer for tests with nfc tags**
Put a costum printes nfc tag sticker next to the bar …

This is indeed a good idea, i think the QR-code will eventually disappear and NFC is the next thing.

I shouldn’t be too hard to do something with it, i am also not a developer but I’ve tested something with NFC with my phone, ordered some stickers and ‘wrote’ the sticker to “Turn on GPS, turn off WiFi and then open the Runkeeper app” so i could go running :). That was really not hard since all could be done with an app already available for NFC use.

+1 Im sure the nfc system adopted for ftc would be a hughe step forward, we only need the support of devs

NFC is the simplest solution to pay with ftc; people like simple things, especially noobs and people who want to USE the system - reading through many sites of instruction or installing a mass of programms was yesterday, jmo

Take a bank card - you get it from the bank with your pin, put it in a terminal, enter the pin, done

Thats what should be the goal for NFC to; get a mobile phone app, set parameters, enter a shop and buy a good by putting the phone to the nfc tag/Terminal, done!
