What's Your Coin Dream Team?

I’ll throw this out there, since it’s not talked about much here (except by Chrisj) … Feathercoin may be coming down on my list soon because I’m growing weary of putting so much faith into a coin who’s price has been/is still being manipulated by BTC-e (allegedly) and/or others to hold the price down and at times tank it with [s]accidents[/s] schemes.
Honestly, if another coin I held were being manipulated like this I’d have bailed already.
The next feature I’d like to see Feathercoin implement would be to rid BTC-e from the picture some how. ;)
… and judging how they do business, that may not take much effort on anyone else’s part.

[/quote]Interesting… I just woke and need to head off to work, but when I get back this arvo, I’ll respond in a bit more depth.
What’s your case against BTC-e? Would leaving btc-e increase the price of ftc?
With the leaps and bounds in the mining tech area, shouldn’t the coin increase in value irregardless?
Also, I’m not in support of coloured coins but could coin mixing be a bad thing?
How is ftc been manipulated? Is keeping the price low for now really that bad of a thing? Surely it is inevitable that the price will rise even if we sat back and made no further developments?

FTC - FeatherCoin (nuff said - my first true cryptolove - I’m a Londoner)
NOBL - NobleCoin (I’m a believer! Seems promising and ‘noble’ :D)
GLD - GoldCoin (it’s the name - nothing else! Some say scam, I say so what - they all are - take your pick, back your horse!)
CAT - CatCoin (the community is a f**king nightmare! Terrible launch, bickering, forking - 3 lives down, 6 to go!)and of course, the almighty BTC!
I also hold stakes in the following:
MonaCoin (Nice wallet splash screen - it’s the important things that matter!)
ICoin (I tested solo mining with a wallet when it launched - much profitability - wow!)
Coinye (In case i need cred wid da yootz)
LiveCoin (UK devs, but generated from coingen.io :o - It’s a pure punt - I must be mad, but they seem deadly serious, I wish them luck!)I don’t hold any DogeCoin but I rate it very highly. BTC is what the older alts are traded against, DOGE is the defacto standard for the newer alts, and it’s also the most profitable coin to mine. That’s quite an achievement in 1 month and they show no sign of disappearing. Just had an upward bounce in the last few days.

BTC Bitcoin, this guy is paying my expenses, I like him
FTC Feathercoin, this fellow sometimes expand my BTC portfolio and he has best forum ever.
PXC Phoenixcoin, this mate is performing very well (not as his spoiled brother Phenixcoin). It is my ultimate pump and dump coin.
GRC Gridcoin, this is my black horse, the coin I mine.
Currently searching for some new coin to join the team!Ok, it might be better to talk about coin as girl, not boy, but I am not rewriting the whole post :P

Surely that has something that no other coin is doing?
(I currently have only 26.479 XPM, It was gifted to me for helping out someone with an issue. I do not mine it.)

But since Justabitoftime is involved in hyping those coins I do not care much about XPM or PPC. -

[/quote]Agree. I would actually like it if nobody looked to the markets when valuing their coins. Bitcoin gave us a chance to turn things around, re-conceptualize. It’s not how good the technology is, it’s more about how you want to use technology that will define it in the end.

I tried to get into Ron Paul coin yesterday. After one day of mining with a promise of 4 coins/day … I ended up with .25 coins and it’s only getting worse today.
I’m not sure if it’s the pool I’m on (seemed like the best I could find) or their current mining issue (our old mining issue). RPC is going for over $20 on CoinedUp, so I thought I’d give it a shot. So far, I’m not impressed.
