Although informative, this post is a bit out of date :

The best way to go about doing this would likely to come up with the basis for a good wikipedia article, have it pinned and invite it to be translated.
Of course just about anybody could feasibly edit it after that and change it around to say what they want it to say, but, it would allow for you guys to get FTC open to more languages without having to worry about somebody volunteering for the job who may or may not be a particularly apt writer.
. . .Just a thought.
A possibility to have a filter on forums one is interested in also would help t osort the mass of information passed through the forums.
And Kevlar you are absolutely right, the avtivity here is rocketing
You would have to get someone who likes crypto already who knows how to make games and would be willing to help out an alt like ours. The fact that the currency was independent of the maker themselves would actually be a competitive feature over the other players on the market so I could see this working.
That’s great news. An online wallet that allows you to buy with a bank account is way easier to get ftc/usd, it would be even better if you can deposit usd with money order as well.
I had the same idea before .â€FTC = Free Trading Coin“ is good idea .

May be, that I’m a a bit old fashioned, but I prefer my wallet to be a wallet and nothing more.
If all other functions you mention could be programmed into another program, the result could be an advantage for the heavy users.
A multi coin wallet would be nice, but there are some drawbacks, like
extended syncronisation time at startup, as many block chains need to be loaded
disc space required, as you need to store many block chains locally
I’d opt for a wallet handling a max of 3 coins to mitigate the above problems
Also it could become a nightmare to maintain the wallet code, as you’ll have to be up to date for different sw tracks, that also may generate conflicts, when simplemented in the same piece of code

Oh, that reminded me, I remembered seeing this:

The basis of what’s provided is “one person, one project at a time”, but perhaps someone could take it to the next level where people could generate those pages/projects through user accounts.
It’s at least a foundation to branch off of while still holding control instead of a 3rd party handling it.

So if I understand you right you are going even more meta than Lockitron by saying that we should give people user accounts that let them set up pages like that?
Would love to get you involved in the Kickstart project:

I really want to see an independent FTC, which is herself, not anybody else!

Actually, the idea of swarms is not to publicly post requests. I agree about an activism sub forum, absolutely.

Ok, maybe it will be some day under the controll of a moderator/leadership member.
Activism is needed, better yesterday than today.
