Well, I am using the Strix ROG 1070’s, and from everything I’ve read, I think I made an extremely lucky guess on the first card I purchased. I haven’t seen anyone reporting anywhere near the hash rate per card that I’m getting off of these…and I’m not even overclocking them at all…
I tested both on several coins and now only pool mining. Because solo never get the numbers calculated, for different reasons. And solo orphans are much more painful.
I have run separated FTC p2pool node, but nobody interested.
Hello.
you can check the p2pool spread here
http://p2pool.neoscrypt.de/
and there was a place that showed the hashrate of the mining pools…I’m just trying to find it now.
@wrapper
sgminer --help returns:
...
...
--sched-start <arg> Set a time of day in HH:MM to start mining (a once off without a stop time)
--sched-stop <arg> Set a time of day in HH:MM to stop mining (will quit without a start time)
...
...
Thank you
I have disabled the Fee, and switching to a “donation only” … I think its the best way to start.
So all miners are welcome @ http://pool.n-engine.com its free!
Hi @sunildubey02
Welcome to the forums. For me personally, I’d prefer to keep discussions open and public on the forums, instead of via email. This way we can share knowledge and help ALL new users.
You say your card is 24 mh/s per card. This depends entirely on which coin you are mining. Using your stats, I can only assume you’re mining Bitcoin or another SHA-256 currency.
Feathercoin was originally developed with the Scrypt encryption algorithm (Just like Litecoin) - Feathercoin wanted to stay ASIC resistant. Meaning we still wanted people to mine with their Graphics cards (Like you!)
So the developers changed the algorithm from Scrypt to NeoScrypt.
I did a quick google and it looks like 1x 1060 GTX can do around 650 Kilo Hashes a second of NeoScrypt mining.
So your 6 cards will do 3900 Kh/s
To mine FTC on windows 10 you need to download a NeoScrypt CCMiner miner for nVidia cards.

I hope this helps.
Just a quick update on the farm… Current status: OFFLINE!
The house I was living in was just a rental and this summer my girlfriend and I bought a new house and have since moved into it. The new house has a smaller garage which is now full of boxes and furniture so I have less space for a farm.
I considered building a shed out back for them but havent totally talked myself into that yet. Also another consideration is building a larger garage (which I want anyway for all my other toys ) and moving the miners there. We’ll see what the spring brings but as for the short term I’ll probably setup 1-2 miners this winter just to do it with the added benefit of adding some extra heat to the garage.
yiimp.ccminer.org, altminer.net, pool.hashrefinery.com all back online. There are likely others, but I haven’t checked them (or they don’t offer neoscrypt coins other than vivo or gun).
hexpool.com still AWOL. So: starting your own mining pool (or public-facing server of any kind) is one thing, but knowing/implementing security in the aftermath of a hack is quite another. That, and having cold-wallet “insurance” to cover losses.
No it is because you have continued to ignore the forum code of conduct by going off topic on someone else’s thread and insulted a respected member of the community, after he pointed out, quite politely, you were repeatedly “offending”.
